Joining in with Ginny's Yarn Along today, I'm reading Devil at the Crossroads, which is the third in a Cornish murder mystery series. I picked up the first book in the series at my library -- it wasn't the easygoing, cozy mystery I expected, and that's actually a good thing, as I usually prefer meatier books. The only times I don't are the rare times I need something to skim through quickly. So it's been kind of slow going, which fits my mood these days just fine.
And the shawl is coming along. Only one day has passed since I started where I didn't have time to pick it up and knit at least a few rows. For me, that's pretty monumental. I may actually finish within the next week or so. Another FO, so soon? Only time will tell...

Ooh, that does look like an interesting book! Your yarn is lovely too ;)
You know I love all your knitting Del and this is no exception! Hooray for knitting on it almost every day!
Have a happy yarn along!
The red looks super rich in that photo. There's something to be said about deep red and pink.... what it is.... mmm something relevant to fire feng shui or is it feng shui fire.
That books looks interesting and being a murder mystery fan... must add to my to-read-list (I checked & its offered via e-reader too).
That is the most beautiful cranberry red. I love books set in Cornwall!
LOVE the color of your yarn :) Beautiful!!!
Did you say Cornish? I'm partial to stories that take place there so will definitely be checking into this series. Lovely color for the shawl. You go girl! Before you know it you will be finished and wearing a shawl, a monumental one at that. :-)

I'm glad you are getting in some knitting every day (almost) - I go spare if I don't get some knitting in every day.
Wow you are moving right along though-so pretty. I am in much the same mood-slow-going. I think it's this crazy time change.

The shawl is looking great. I love the eyelets. I am a big fan of English murder mysteries, so will have to check that one out. I like your new blog format, by the way. I also didn't know that you have a collection of short stories. I will have to check that out, too :)
Thank you, autumngeisha! I returned to blogger; didn't make a big announcement since my blog address remained the same. But it's much easier for me.
