Morning Break

treetree

Christmas break ended for the children a couple of days ago. My plan was to immediately get back to work. But I took a break; a very short one, but one that helped. And after reading “the joy of quiet,” I think I made the right decision.

Thanks, Monica.

Lots of food for thought in that article! I think that we were lucky to grow up in a time where the Internet and technology was not so pervasive as it is now. Having to entertain ourselves with a book or craft or going outside to play instead of turning on the nearest gadget. I was intrigued about the new “retreat” style vacation. I hope that you enjoyed your short break.

Gorgeous pics! And a great read – thanks! Very, very true.
On a semi-related note, I received a new laptop for xmas, so didn’t have you in my menu bar anymore! Yikes! I fixed THAT right up and caught up. Congrats on the glue gun – my son is dying for me to get one, but I think I’ll have to get a dog beware sign, too, before I do!

Interesting article. I often turn off my phone and I don’t have TV in my home. I enjoy walks with my baby and dog. It’s so important to have a break.
p.s: I just don’t know how it happened that I missed your moving to other place. Thankfully I’m here!
    Hugs!
