We enjoyed the beach today, as you can see. Funny, because the beach isn't exactly my favorite place in the world. Which is probably a little ironic because we live close to the ocean -- hop in the car and we're there in a matter of minutes. Weird.
Lately, though, I've been thinking that even if it's not my favorite place to be, it's the favorite place of many other people and they shouldn't be deprived of it. They shouldn't have to walk on their beach and sidestep tar balls and see oil-covered animals. They shouldn't lose their livelihood.
