But I am cured! My current WIPs weren't making me any better & though I tried to resist, I cast on something new. For months, I've wanted to knit a cardigan. I haven't made one yet & I've queued a few. I finally dug in the stash for some yarn I'd earmarked for a cardi & just started. No asking the yarn what it wanted to be. No leaning in close & saying "hey, little hank, what do you want to be when you grow up?" I just grabbed some needles & started swatching. (I got the feeling that too much thought would lead me to a no-mojo relapse, so quick action was required.)

As you can see, this is bright red, just like my current socks-in-progress. Not sure what's up with all the red (although it is my favorite color & I can't believe I haven't completed a big red project yet). I'm just glad to be knitting again. Pin It Now!

My first thought when the cardi link image loaded:"That is going to look AMAZING on her".
It's great that you have your knitting mojo back. Nice choice of pattern & yarn. I love red too!
Glad that your knitting mojo has reappeared..lol. I like the red and staring with emerald eyes, since I had to frog back 13" - no let me change that rip out 13"a knit project..sigh.Off to find another project that's less challenging..hehe.
Can you pass your remedy over here too please?!? Haha! ;opI was thinking I wanted to CO onto for something new - FAST!!! Before I fill guilt about my OTN projects mocking me pfft!So glad you are back in the knitting game in a big way with RED!!!! Yay!!Have a great weekend Del!!
Glad you got your mojo back. Cute cardi!
Well Hallelujah! You and Crimson were on my knitting prayer list. LOL
Good for you! I love red. I've been wanting to knit some red socks for awhile. It's a very invigorating color. Yay for the mojo! Treat her well and give in to her whims, so she'll stay =)
Can't wait to hear what that ball of yarn wants to grow into.
Great color and pattern combo. Maybe as the weather turns cooler, our collective knitting mojo will return.
That is going to be a super cute cardi. And I love red too!I knew you would be bakc eventually. It was only a matter of time :)
Glad you got the urge to knit back! I am slowly moving along with my WIPs but have to admit I've not really been in the mood lately. :)
I'm glad you've found something you want to knit - what a lovely color too!
I took a peek on Ravelry and that cardi IS cute !!!
Ooh! Pretty! What cardi are you going to do? I've been longing for a jacket, and went browsing through all the knitted jackets on Ravelry until I was drooling. It's going to be my reward for working my way through my insane WIP basket. I've found stuff I put down TWO YEARS ago. It was embarrassing. But no new yarn until the basket is empty. The problem is, the more I finish, the more it seems I have to do. I just found tiny sweaters I meant to give as christmas presents aaaages ago. Meh.
You're spot on about the waning mojo. I'm slogging through cardi that in the past would have been finished at least a couple of weeks ago.The red is beautiful and I loved knitting Sienna. I can't wait to see how yours turns out!
Oh that's going to be a nice cardi. I love that red.
good luck with cardi! Glad your knitting mood is back - lately I am more into sewing mood, but several orders got me back on knitting tracks!
Yay! That's going to be beautiful.
Welcome back, m'dear. You've arrived in style.
Yay for the cure! :D
That is a lovely red and a beautiful cardi pattern!!! Nothing like a new project to fire you up... yea!!
That'll make a lovely Sienna cardigan :)P.S. Your new kitty is beautiful (how wonderful that Weedinator isn't allergic to her)!
Thankfully my knitting mojo never went away. I'm glad that you cast on for a sweater. Can't believe you hadn't actually knit on yet. Red is a great color!
